Today we:
-Watched the rest of "The Heat in the Night"
-Received a review for the final test on "In the Heat of the Night" (Friday)
-Hand in Murder Mystery Stories (good copy, draft, peer-edit sheet, title page) on Friday
-Received review for final exam on Monday. Key will be posted on Friday

Today we:
-Reviewed and discussed "Speak" pages 137-168
-Homework: Finish "Speak" by Thursday and hand in study questions by Friday!
-Started watching the "Speak" movie
-Final test part one on Friday, in-class essay on Tuesday!
-Study literary terms for Provincial exam!!!!!

-Wrote a quiz on Part One of "Speak"
-Silent reading (students must be finished reading up to page. 68 on Monday and have their study questions caught up).
-Finished cutting out words for our "Voice Found Poems". Students will have time to assemble their poems on Monday, but will not be able to continue cutting out words.

-Creatively arranged our found words
-Brainstormed words and meanings we associate with the term "creative writing".
-Worked in partners to create a story from the sentences given.
